Settings: Notifications Settings

Purpose

The Notification Settings center is your personal alert system  helping you stay informed, in control, and ahead of the action. 

From here, you decide when and how you get updates: instantly or daily. Whether it’s a card being assigned to you, an obstacle that needs attention, or a workflow event that triggers an update you’ll always be in the loop.

Because great leaders don’t chase updates they customize them.

As a user, you can use Notification Settings to choose which alerts you want to receive and how often so that you’re always notified about what matters most without getting overwhelmed by noise.

From Manage Business Outcome Notification Settings, you can:

  •  Enable Email Notifications for real-time or daily summaries.

  •  Select Notification Types — from “card assigned to me” to “card completed.”

  •  Configure Obstacle Alerts — get notified if a High or Critical obstacle hasn’t been updated within a set number of days.

  •  Manage Workflow Alerts — set up default or custom workflows that define how color coding, card movement, and status updates trigger notifications.

  •  Personalize Frequency — decide whether to get updates immediately or in a daily digest format.

The result? A tailored notification experience that keeps you informed, focused, and in control no inbox overload required. 

Overview

When you click Manage Business Outcome Notification Settings, you’ll open your Notification Center  a one-stop hub for managing all your Business Outcome alerts.

Here’s what you can control:

  • Email Notifications: Toggle on to receive messages for key events like assignments, completions, or approvals.

  • Obstacle Rules: Set rules that trigger alerts when obstacles are overdue or marked as high or critical.

  • Workflow Alerts:

    • Use Default Workflows for standard color-coding and status-based notifications.

    • Use Custom Workflows to create your own notification logic for when cards are created, updated, or deleted.

This flexibility ensures that you only receive the right updates, at the right time keeping your focus sharp and your communication streamlined. 

To Manage Notifications

  1. Go to Business Outcomes Settings ⚙️

    • From the dashboard, open Settings and click Notification Settings.

  2. Click “Manage Business Outcome Notification Settings.”

    • This opens your Notification Center.

  3. Turn On Email Notifications 

    • Choose the events you want to be alerted about - from new assignments to completed cards.

  4. Select Frequency 

    • Choose Immediate (real-time updates) or Daily (digest summary).

  5. Configure Obstacle Notifications 

    • Set rules for when high or critical obstacles haven’t been updated within a certain number of days.

  6. Set Workflow Alerts 

    • Define Default Workflows (color-coded or system-wide rules).

    • Or create Custom Workflows to set unique triggers for card creation, updates, or deletions.

  7. Save Your Preferences 

    • Your notifications will update instantly to match your settings.
