Overview
The Dashboard Settings page contains several configuration options that allow you to personalize how dashboards display information.
Display Company Level Outcomes on Every Level
Enable this option to display Company-level Outcomes throughout every level of the Business Outcomes hierarchy, including Portfolio, Enterprise, Team of Teams, and Team dashboards. This ensures strategic priorities remain visible regardless of where users are working.
Business Outcome Filter
Choose how multiple tags are evaluated when filtering Business Outcomes.
- OR – Displays outcomes that contain any of the selected tags.
- AND – Displays only outcomes that contain all selected tags.
Selecting the appropriate filter logic helps users quickly find the information most relevant to them.
Outcome Labels
Outcome labels define the names used for your organization's Outcome hierarchy. You can edit these labels to match your company's terminology.
Examples include:
- Strategic Outcomes
- Annual Outcomes
- Quarterly Outcomes
Changes are reflected throughout Business Outcomes wherever these outcome types appear.
Card Types
Business Outcomes allows administrators to rename card types so they align with the terminology used within the organization. Selecting Edit Label lets you update the displayed name for each card type.
Common examples include:
- Initiatives → Epics
- Projects → Capabilities
- Deliverables → Milestones
- Stories → Actions
Renaming card types allows Business Outcomes to feel familiar to users while supporting your organization's existing processes and vocabulary.
Summary
Dashboard Settings give administrators centralized control over how Business Outcomes dashboards are presented across the organization. By configuring Company-level visibility, filter behavior, outcome labels, and card type names, you can create a consistent, intuitive experience that reflects your organization's structure and terminology.
