Tasks Summary

Summary

The Tasks feature provides a centralized location for users to manage, track, and complete work across Business Outcomes. Instead of navigating to multiple areas of the platform, users can quickly view and act on assigned work from a single task drawer.

Tasks can originate from several areas within the system, including checklist items, obstacles, meeting action items, change requests, key results, and actual updates. Users can filter tasks by type, view task status, and focus on upcoming work using configurable timeframes.

The Tasks view supports two modes:

My Tasks

  • Displays only open tasks assigned to the current user.
  • Helps users focus on work that requires their attention.
  • Eliminates the need to sort through unrelated or completed tasks.

All Tasks

  • Displays all tasks that match the selected filters across the organization.
  • Provides visibility into team and organizational activity.

The Tasks drawer also provides real-time task metrics, including:

  • Total Tasks
  • Open Tasks
  • Overdue Tasks
  • Completed Tasks

By bringing work into a single, easy-to-use view, Tasks helps improve accountability, visibility, and execution while ensuring important work items do not get overlooked.
