Here, you can scan performance metrics, track progress, and drill into details without losing sight of the big picture. The Grid View brings both Business Outcome cards and Initiative/Project cards together, so you can see everything that matters all in one sleek, easy-to-read layout.

As a user, the Grid View is your one-stop workspace for managing initiatives and projects side by side.
Need to expand a card to see its child items? Easy.
Want to add or link new projects? Just click the ➕ plus icon next to the title.

Overview

Within the Grid View, every card whether it’s a Business Outcome, Initiative, or Project gets its own row of rich, actionable details. You’ll see everything that matters at a glance: progress, team, targets, actuals, comments, and the latest updates.

It’s like your favorite spreadsheet but smarter and way better looking. 
Perfect for users who love to compare data side by side, spot trends quickly, and review multiple work items without endless clicking. The Grid View keeps all your insights lined up, organized, and ready for action

Card Types Displayed

The Grid View displays the following card types:

  • Business Outcomes – Objectives and key results tied to organizational goals.

  • Initiatives and Projects – Work items representing project, deliverables, or milestones.

All cards shown in this view can be filtered or sorted, helping you focus on specific data relevant to your role or objective.

Drill-Through Functionality

If you see a caret (▸) next to a card title, this indicates that additional layers of information are available for that item.

  • For Business Outcome cards, expanding the caret reveals the associated Key Results (KRs).

  • For Project cards, expanding it displays child cards such as milestones, deliverables, or stories linked to that project.

This interactive structure allows you to explore relationships between parent and child work items without leaving the Grid View.

Information Displayed in Grid View

Each row in the Grid View contains key fields that summarize performance and activity:

  • Progress – Displays completion percentage, color-coded by status (🟢 On Track, 🟡 Watch, 🔴 Delayed).

  • Team – The team or department responsible for the card.

  • Target – The goal or benchmark value assigned to the outcome or project.

  • Actual – The current achieved value toward the target.

  • Comments – Notes or feedback associated with the card.

  • Updated By – Shows the user who last modified the card and the date of the update.

This layout enables transparency and accountability across all tracked work.

Sorting, Filtering, and Exporting

  • Click on column headers to sort the grid by any data field (Progress %, Updated Date, etc.).

  • Use the filter icon in the upper-left corner to narrow your view to specific projects, teams, or statuses.

  • Click Export to Excel in the top-right corner to download the displayed data for offline review or reporting.

Tips for Using Grid View Efficiently

  • Expand cards to see how individual key results or project milestones are performing in relation to overall progress.

  • Use sorting to prioritize items that are delayed or underperforming.

  • Filter by Business Outcome or Project Type (using the dropdown) to focus on specific categories of work.

  • Regularly review the Updated By column to monitor activity and accountability.
