Outcomes
Outcomes are the backbone of your organization’s success story. They link objectives, key results, KPIs, and risks together giving teams and leaders visibility into progress at every level.
By tracking Outcomes, you can:
See how individual efforts ladder up to company-wide goals.
Identify what’s on track and what needs extra focus.
Strengthen alignment, accountability, and clarity across teams.
The Outcomes View turns strategic plans into measurable progress helping every team see how their work contributes to the bigger picture.
Overall Performance Banner
The Overall Performance Banner is your dashboard’s first impression and you get to make it yours! Company Admins can click Edit (in the top-right corner of the image) to upload a company-branded image that everyone in the organization will see.
By default, an AgilityInsights image is placed here but customizing it adds a personal touch and makes your dashboard feel like home base for your organization’s journey.
How to View Outcomes
Use the dropdown menu to filter and view specific work types Strategic, Operational, Enabling, or Enterprise Team depending on the level of insight you need. This allows you to focus on the relevant outcomes and quickly assess performance and alignment across your organization.
The progress bars display the overall performance for each category represented on the dashboard. The number on the left indicates the total count of items within that category, while the percentage on the right reflects the overall completion or progress toward that category’s goal. This visual helps users quickly understand both the volume of work and how much of it has been achieved.
In addition to supporting alignment, a new toggle on the Company dashboard lets you switch between Company-only metrics and Company + all Teams (rolled-up) with a single click, giving leaders a clear, flexible view of performance at the highest level.
Company Level
When the Company Level is selected, the top section displays the Overall Strategy Progress, which reflects a weighted average of progress across 3-Year, 1-Year, and team-level outcomes. You can adjust these weights using the Weight button in the upper-right corner. This view also shows Strategic Objectives (3-Year Outcomes) and their related KPIs. The Overall Strategy Progress metric is available only at the company level.
In the Overall Strategy dropdown, a Company Admin can adjust the default weights assigned to each component that contributes to the Overall Strategy Progress percentage.
Strategic KPI Progress measures the advancement of 3-Year Outcomes at the company level and the progress of their related key results.
Annual Key Result Progress tracks the progress of 1-Year Outcomes and their associated key results across all team levels.
Project Progress reflects the status of all Project Cards across teams, including their related quarterly outcomes and key results (which are currently not included in the calculation).
By default, the weights are set to 70% for Strategic KPI Progress, 20% for Annual Key Result Progress, and 10% for Project Progress. These can be customized in the dropdown to better align with your organization’s priorities.
Team Level Hierarchy
Under the Company Level, you’ll see additional teams listed beneath it. These teams represent the organizational units that roll up directly to the company. By clicking on a team name, you can expand the view to see the teams that roll up to that group, and continue drilling down until you reach the individual team level.
This structure visually represents the hierarchy of teams within the organization, showing how progress and outcomes cascade from the company level down through each layer of the hierarchy.
You can also view this information in an alternative format by selecting the donut icon. The Donut View provides a visual representation of progress and distribution across teams, allowing you to quickly assess overall performance at a glance.
The KPI vs. KR View offers two distinct perspectives to give leaders clearer insight and control. In the KPI view, all KPIs are rolled up to provide a comprehensive snapshot of strategic health across the organization. In the KR view, Key Results are displayed in a way that clearly differentiates leading indicators from impact metrics, helping teams see which activities are driving progress and which outcomes are delivering measurable results.
Exploring Progress Bars
Each progress bar on the dashboard represents the overall performance of a specific category. The number on the left shows the total count of items within that category, and the percentage on the right reflects the completion rate toward that goal. These progress bars provide a quick visual snapshot of progress across all major performance areas.
Interactive Drill-Downs
Click any progress bar to explore additional details. For example, selecting Objectives opens a detailed view showing titles, owners, status, and progress. You can expand or collapse all items and verify that the total number matches the count displayed on the left side of the progress bar.
If you’d like to view more information, use the Filter option to customize columns. For instance, add the Parent Team column to see which team each item rolls up to.
Category Specific Details
Each progress bar provides insights specific to its category:
Annual Objectives: Displays all annual objectives and their corresponding details.
Key Results: Divided into Impact (green) and Leading (gray) indicators, both clickable to view supporting data.
Obstacles and Risks: Shows the total count and allows you to click through for a detailed list. Within this view, use the dropdown to filter between All, Obstacles only, or Risks only.
Color Indicators
The color coding on progress bars is consistent throughout the platform:
Green indicates items are on track.
Yellow indicates items are under watch.
Red indicates items are delayed.
These visual indicators help users quickly assess which areas may require attention.
Summary
The Outcomes View transforms goals into growth by connecting strategy, execution, and results all in one place. It’s your one-stop view for tracking success, celebrating progress, and steering your organization toward impact.
