Purpose

The Quarterly Progress tab within the Executive Dashboard provides leaders with a clear view of what work is being delivered this quarter.

This page focuses on execution progress, helping users understand how milestones/deliverables, and stories are advancing across the organization.

By visualizing work by category and workstream, the Quarterly Progress view makes it easy to see what is moving forward, what’s behind, and what is contributing to strategic outcomes.

While strategic dashboards show long-term performance, leaders also need visibility into short-term execution.

The Quarterly Progress page allows leaders to quickly answer questions like:

• What deliverables are planned for this quarter?
• Which milestones are progressing as expected?
• Which stories are contributing to key initiatives?
• Which workstreams are moving the strategy forward?

Where to Find Quarterly Progress

Navigate to:

• Executive Dashboard → Quarterly Progress

When this tab opens, you will see a visual overview of quarterly execution activity across teams.

What the Quarterly Progress Page Shows

The Quarterly Progress page pulls information directly from the Card View, specifically from:

• Deliverables
• Stories

This ensures that the data displayed on the dashboard reflects the same work items teams are actively managing within their cards.

Milestones & Deliverables

Milestones and deliverables represent the major work outcomes planned for the quarter.

These help leadership understand:

• What major initiatives are scheduled
• Which deliverables support strategic objectives
• Where teams are focusing their execution efforts

Stories

Stories represent the specific pieces of work being completed to deliver milestones and initiatives.

These provide additional detail into:

• Work in progress
• Team execution
• Contributions toward deliverables and outcomes

Category Filtering

Users can filter the data displayed on the page by selecting specific categories.

Categories help organize work into logical groups. 

How It Works
 

Users can:

• Select a category from the dropdown or filter
• The page updates to display only the deliverables and stories associated with that category

This allows leaders to focus on specific initiatives or workstreams.

Viewing Data by Workstream

Users can choose to display work in Workstream View, which organizes data by strategic initiatives or workstreams.

This view helps leaders quickly understand:

• Which initiatives contain the most work
• How deliverables are distributed across workstreams
• Where execution effort is concentrated

Chart View

Alternatively, users can switch to Chart View to visualize quarterly progress.

Chart View helps leaders quickly identify:

• Work distribution across categories
• Progress trends
• Areas with higher or lower levels of activity

This visual format makes it easier to interpret large volumes of work data quickly.

Roll-Up Data Options

The Quarterly Progress view also allows users to control whether roll-up data is included.

When roll-ups are enabled:

• Work from lower levels (such as teams or sub-initiatives) is included
• Progress reflects contributions from multiple levels

When roll-ups are disabled:

• Only the selected level’s data is displayed

This flexibility allows users to view either detailed execution or summarized performance.

Exporting Quarterly Progress

Users can export the Quarterly Progress data for reporting or presentations.

Available export options include:

• PDF Export
  Ideal for leadership presentations or quarterly reviews.
• Excel Export
  Perfect for deeper analysis or sharing data with stakeholders.

Exports allow teams to easily share execution insights outside the platform.
