What are the steps involved for utilizing a Talent Development Assessment?

Successfully utilizing a Talent Development Assessment contains several steps. They need to be followed in this order:

  1. Ensure your company is enabled for talent development assessments
If your company is not already set up for talent development assessments, you may need to contact your Company Admin to work with Customer Success to have this feature turned on.
  2. Create a team with Participants
In order to launch a talent development assessment, you must first create a team that includes all of the Participants or Individuals to be assessed. For example, if you have 10 Scrum Masters in your company, you could create a team containing all of them and set up all 10 Scrum Master assessments at one time. When creating a team for talent development assessments, be sure to select Group of Individuals as the Work Type. You will then add team members to this team, which are the Participants or Individuals who are taking the assessment for their growth.
  3. Create and launch the talent development assessment
After creating the team with your Participants, select the team from the team dashboard by clicking on their name or avatar. You will be taken to the assessments dashboard for the selected team. This is where you will create and publish the talent development assessment, as well as invite Reviewers to participate in reviewing the Participants.
  4. Review and analyze talent development radar results
After the Participants and Reviewers have completed their assessments, it’s time to analyze the results. Depending on how the assessment is set up, some users will be able to see each Participant’s results independently, as well as view the whole team’s results in comparison to each other on a roll-up radar.
  5. Individual growth planning
Once the Participant has analyzed their results, usually with an Agile Coach, Manager, Peer, or Mentor to help guide them, the next step is for them to create their individual growth plan.
